Jen, those cloud formations were spectacular...as was the storm, no doubt. Around here I'd be fearing a tornado and wanting to be off the road with all that turmoil in the skies. Great photographs! josh

I wasn't too worried. I love thunderstorms, especially the smell of rain. I could tell there was way too much moisture and it was too chilly for a tornado - all thunderheads and no wall clouds. Although I was parked in the driveway waiting for the kids at the time of those last clouds, ready to jump back in the car if the lightning got too bad :-).

We did spot a funnel cloud out over Parker on Wednesday (we're in Aurora). First time the tornado sirens in our area have gone off all season. I'm the type of person that will go out to see if there's really anything to worry about.
