Linda,what a charming set of furniture that is. It's so colorful and obviously has been kepe with tender loving care. I especially like the base of that lamp.

They certainly don't make furniture like that anymore. It's wonderful that your family was able to save it. So much of the beautiful older stuff was disposed of before it became antique.....when decades ago it was just old furniture and somebody wanted to 'remodel'.

My grandmother did have the sofa recovered at one point, so the value went down some, but hey, she was using it! LOL! The lamps are both signed, the end tables have inlay. There are a couple other pieces in the living room that were grandmothers also, all mixed with new sofa and chairs my mom bought. Looks nice but the sad thing is, we never sit in there!
