Is that basil? I don't think one can grow enough of it and there are so many varieties and each different and wonderful. Nice picture. It reminds me of those you see on calendars..so colorful.

Isn't that a beautiful arrangement? It could be a painting. Ratatouille is a staple summer meal in our house. This year, even my eggplants were a gardening success so my stews come completely from our garden. I like mine served with along with a block of cut Amish cheeses and home-made crusty bread. Doesn't get much better than that. Sometimes I scramble some of my eggs as a side.
