    Sheila, I love the photographs, especially effective I think in sepia, and you've caught the men and tools in action perfectly. I do miss seeing the "bigger picture" though of what first caught your eye...the bulk and hulk of an old vessel pulled back into the light of day...only to be torn apart.

    The sadness evoked by your description of the old vessel being decimated isn't evidenced in these few photographs. Perhaps you have one shot from a distance of the ship's destruction in process you could add? I suppose for instance they worked from top down and from one side to another...what did it look like half-finished (no pun intended)? josh
