Wow, my kids didn't get playsets that posh. Now I'm feeling guilty.

My Mama's marmalade tabby, whom I inherited this year completely annihilated two of my mother's expensive chairs. One a Lazy Boy recliner, and the other an orthopaedic lift chair built like a recliner. Both of them in almost pristine condition and newer. He is now living in my house and I found the only thing he is interested in to 'sharpen' claws are my large greenhouse packing boxes. The rugs in two rooms have cardboard confetti all over them, but so far, my furniture has been spared. whew.

I'm enjoying your cat tails (tales) Lilo. Your new boys are very handsome fellows, I'd be totally smitten by them.

We had this exact same "condo" in our Fellowship rummage sale two weeks ago...it's very impressive. They'll be hanging out there sipping on catnip cocktails and reading movie magazines all winter.

Someone once told me that kitties like scratching posts that are an elliptical shape and that corded industrial carpet is best but the lines should run vertical.

Cool condo Lilo...When my daughter moved to Tampa and adopted two kittens that was my first gift to her and them...her and i laugh about dragging it out of Pet Smart struggling till some nice gentleman offered to help us put it in her truck.

Suzi~ if you run out of boxes for them to shred, try these. I used to make similar for my cats (scissors and Elmer's -- and manufacture when the cat is on the *other* side of a locked door).
