Tell her she looks pretty spiffy if you ask me. Our dogs have always had long coats but those poor little short haired dogs must get awfully cold outside.

I thinki it's good she's wearing a warm coat. I know when one of my brothers' dog got old, we bought him a coar and it literally changed his little life. After as while, as he got really creaky, we never took it off except to wash it and he was happy as a clam--well, I guess a warm dog!

She looks like she has her own little Lodenmantel. That's a blast from the past. I remember my mother had a Loden Coat. I wonder what ever happened to it. Where they popular in the States like they were in Europe?

We've got a dog who would benefit from a coat, but the others would roll on the ground laughing at him! I think it looks like a great idea. Is she getting more used to it now?

she had "lost" it for a couple of days, apparently managed to scrape it off on some brush in a ditch. Because of the coloring it took me two days before I spotted it. Now I pin the upper edge of it to her collar, no way can she lose it.
But the last few days of very cold and very rainy has made a believer of her, I think.
