A new (to me) thing - pictures of my summer garden when it is winter and yucky in Illinois!

Beautiful, Don! It is good to re-visit the garden when it's cold and dreary out, motivates one to plan for spring, which surely shall come.
Happy New Year to you, glad to see you.

What a beautiful shot to see first thing. Thx Jim! I'll put up a butterfly shot sometime soon...

Beautiful plants and photo.
DD and DS are great hikers and send me photos of their hikes. I made each of them a desk calendar using their photos and they loved them. Both of them said it was a great way to remember their hikes and looking forward to their 2014 hikes.
Nice to see you here again, Jim.

Lovely! I am already counting the days until my flowers return. They are almost like a pet that I miss. The crocuses should be open in six weeks. The camellias and oregon grape have fat buds but the hellebores have yet to put in an appearance.
