President Obama's talk this morning

I just wanted to share with you... President Obama is going to give a talk about the field where I work! I'm ultra excited!!! I've been working in personalized medicine for the past 10 years, and in the past five it's really taken off. I'm excited to see what he has to say! That we already have found safer ways to dose coumadin would be enough, as it is a drug that must be watched closely, however, it's promising to make lives better by avoiding drugs that cause adverse reactions, or bolster what is good in your body. I can't wait to see what's next, and that the President has something to say about it is amazing.

I was not able to see the video, but I found an article about it.
It is exciting and I hope the studies are funded.

I'm interested to see just how he'll go about getting a million volunteers?! Almost all of it sounded good.

rob, the president himself does not have to get "a million volunteers?"
It is like any grant, you have to prove that you can fulfill the terms of the grant.

That's not what I meant. Oops! Who are they going get? How and who will do the consenting? How are they going to pay for the sequencing (at $1,000 per volunteer) and the volunteers for the testing... I mean the concrete details. Make better sense?
