Actually, the police notes are the most interesting thing in our paper. I keep looking for my name - fortunately I haven't see it!

Our weekly paper has a feature called: High Crimes and Misdemeanors that is interesting - not only the town, but county-wide coverage there.

Our daily county newspaper is rather good, but the front page brings mostly any wrongdoings as headliners.

Anneliese, the paper we take is the same way as you describe about yours. Even if the article is not mainly about wrong-doing, the headline tries to slant it in that direction.

Interestingly, to me, anyway, is that the daily paper from the smaller town not too far away, usually has a positive 'feel' to whatever its headline is. It certainly gives a nicer perspective.
