I had forgotten about that

DIL brought a peanut butter pie she had made and I certainly had more than my share. So rich and probably artery clogging but I think the last time I had eaten peanut butter pie was probably 30 years ago. When I think of pie it is always a fruit pie but as rich as that was I probably should wait another 30 years.

Leone made a chocolate cake this morning, believe I'll wait until tomorrow to sample that. Guess we are just having a salad for dinner.

She took what remained of the pie with her which was probably a good thing.

Dang, and all I have in my refrigerator is a day-old yogurt parfait with sliced strawberries. lol

Peanut butter won't cause a cholesterol problem, there's no fear of it clogging arteries. Its very nutritious too. But it can cause weight to accumulate if overdone.

I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourself! It's ok if that's that rare. Yesterday, we were all talking about how many pounds we'd gained after Christmas, while eating. I did well with only soup, but everyone else had plates piled high and dessert. Humans are crazy beings!

Peanut Butter Cream pies can fill the vacancy for me.
Imagine two big peanut butter cookies filled with creamy peanut butter filling. Love them, love them.

It just happens I made a peanut butter pie for Christmas dinner. We had later in the afternoon and it was good! I had found the recipe in Dallas paper. It had chocolate crumb crust and a chocolate layer over crust. And was filled with peanut butter mouse. I will make it again.
