I have the same experience and I agree, mwheel , they are totally annoying. I hesitate to read or post at GW any more.

I don't have annoying ads. I use Adblock Plus which you can download free at the link below. Just select the one for the browser that you use.

I also use Adblock, it really takes care of them, and it's easy to download and completely reliable

I too use AdBlock. It's the best! No annoying pop-ups

Thanks, 'sweet betsy', Lilo, and robb; I went to the AdBlock Plus website and downloaded it. I think I did it correctly, I guess the proof will be if I don't see those pesky little ads!

Thanks for the information and link to Adblock Plus. I downloaded it to both IE and Fire Fox, and so far, no annoying pop-ups.
