I don't believe that people are looking for the meaning of life as much as they are looking for the experience of being alive

PS As for me, I am looking for chocolate cheesecake with raspberry topping this evening :>))
celebrating that I am still alive

Good quote, especially for us seniors. I remember many a discussion about the meaning when I was around twenty, we never came to a definite conclusion.

Taking pleasure in the small, everyday things of life is what gives me the experience of really *being alive*. A beautiful sunrise or sunset, jet trails across the blue sky, birds singing, the sound of the wind blowing, and my cat Maggie being beautiful and adorable, these are some of those things.

P.S. Chocolate cheesecake with raspberry topping fits into the list above, too. Think of us poor souls without any as you enjoy every bite! :>)
