Nice to start the day with Groucho! It is snowing, the cats are not amused

Groucho is a good example of the difference in humor w-a-a-y back then and now.

I didn't particularly like Groucho, but he, and the comedians of that time could be funny! And without using four letter words, referring to body parts or sex.

Why the difference? I'm not a prude, but if something is funny, it's funny. To me, a lot of what passes for today's humor is not funny.....it's just depends on the childish mindset of the listener to giggle and laugh over the no-no and naughty.

The funniest joke I think I ever heard...wish I could repeat it here....was a dirty one, but I think it would have been over the head of the usual "comedian" of today.
