A house is not a home unless it contains food and fire for the mind as well as the body.
Benjamin Franklin

When you finally go back to your old home, you find it wasn't the old home you missed but your childhood.
Sam Ewing

Never make your home in a place. Make a home for yourself inside your own head. You'll find what you need to furnish it - memory, friends you can trust, love of learning, and other such things. That way it will go with you wherever you journey.
Tad Williams

Don for sometime now I have been having a problem identifying just where my home is. Your quotes were so timely I printed them out for reference. Thank You.

I'd say, that home is where the heart is.
When I was traveling on business and I'd be gone for up to 5 days a week. I brought a photo of the family to whatever hotel/motel room I was staying in. But it did not make the room a "home". It was only when I got back to my family that I felt that I was home.
