Mark Twain's quote gives me a chuckle; my DH is getting older by the minute, not younger, but he, too remembers things--whether they happened or not! (And is adamant about his memory being the correct one.)

Thank you nonmember for your link to a good site. When I was looking these up last night the site I use had forty pages of quotes on the word "remember" with a number of them being various iterations of this quote. Franklin's was the first so it is the one I used.

Gandle had posted before I did the quotes so I used his experience as impetus for the quotes.

I have some memories from when I was 4-8 yo, and they are very vivid. At some point I started questioning my memories, wondering how on earth I can remember something that happened so long ago (70 years ago).
Then I found a book on ebay, that explained every single thing I remember , It validated my memories.
