Guess you don't wanna hear that missed us in Nashville completely. Or that they're predicting a high of 68 next Monday? Won't you get it on Tuesday? Maybe there is hope for you! Stay dry and warm. Oh, wait, the sun almost came up before I started off to work. It's coming up sooner. So it will be warm before we know it.

Being farther north, we are not part of this weather rampage and it got to 33 yesterday and maybe a bit wamer today. What comes tonight is up for questions, snow, sleet, rain, maybe nothing? We sit at the edge again and as so many times before, 20 miles may make a difference.

I am happy to report that it is raining, has rained yesterday evening and hasn't stopped. A light rain, but much appreciated. The counties north of us have heavier precip, but I am happy withthe way it is right now.
The well is still very sluggish and we are buying water and have rain fill buckets for flushing and rough clean-up, but every bit counts.

The sky is blue and it is 75 degrees. Some plants are starting to bud. But we need rain. Enough with the blue skies.
I sure wish Mother Nature would spread the wet stuff around a little better.

We gripe about our winter weather while Germany just welcomed it's first stork, a month too early. He does find food because it is so warm already. One strong storm does not make a ski season.

Glad to see that the stork arrived, To me it means , spring, babies, and new beginnings.
Even here in Silicon Valley, when announcing a new arrival, a pink or blue flag picturing a stork is placed out front.

So for a German to see a stork is like seeing the first robin in the US? Oh. If so I'm glad I live in the US, otherwise my name would be Stork!
