Fowl Valentine

Spring is approaching
Previously peaceful comrades
Ducks fight over girls
Girls take to the air
Playing hard to get

Nice poem, lilo. I can see the scene in my mind.
Yes, spring is near, and oscarthecat seems to be ready for spring.

Smiles. It's snowing here to bring in Valentine's Day. Not much but it's been more steady than predicted. Don't think there is much sex outdoors hereabouts currently.

Went to a local lake the other day and saw a pair of Pelicans, Mallards, Mergansers, about 40 Canada Geese, Wood ducks, Cormorants, lots of Gulls and some domestic Ducks and Geese that People had dropped off. People were feeding them bread and getting quite an audience. Like your poem Lilo guess spring is in the air, You will likely see the Canada geese flying over or perhaps stopping for a bit soon.

No ducks courting here, but the Downy Woodpecker is starting to drum away.
