Thoughts while cleaning out the Hypericum
I was so concerned about erosion on the path past the deck
What to do? What to do?
Checking closer I found that it was not erosion - it was invasion I was dealing with
I remembered the heavy snow last winter, and how it bent the plants
So I took the pruner and got busy
cutting all the surplus and behold
here was my path!
The mower tidied it all up, so now it�s up to me
to maintain it.
This is a great metaphor:
sometimes the path is not lost, just cluttered up with
too much -
hardened by misuse -
left untended -
paying regular attention and performing
needed maintenance will keep the path clear and unobstructed
