Dwight D. Eisenhower

Very meaningful quotes, Don. I confess that I wonder if there ever truly will be peace in this world. Jimi Hendrix's quote sums it up succinctly -- 'the love of power' is still stronger than 'the power of love'.

Remember "....give peace a chance..."? Humans don't seem to have peace in their make-up. If it's not the superpowers than it is umpteen smaller countries and it starts from person to person.
