| The George Eliot quote gave me a smile. We had a dog, named "Super Dog". He was part of the family. He was a combination of a "friend" a "protector" a "playmate".and much more. I think Eliot simplified the relationship between humans and furry friends. "Animals are such agreeable friends - they ask no questions; they pass no criticisms." |
