Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have - life itself.
Walter Anderson

The gift of fantasy has meant more to me than my talent for absorbing positive knowledge.

Good morning, Don
From the first to the last they are all wonderful! No favorite there.
Hope you had a bit of rest and the shaking has stopped.

Don, thank you for these meaningful quotes. Each one could be a sermon--I think I've written that before! But, they're especially helpful to me, this morning, b/c I didn't get to church (early service) and they are my sermons.

The reason I didn't make it to church was b/c the rain was pelting, the winds were fierce, and I wasn't going to get on the interstate. Now, the temp is dropping and it's turning to snow. Of course, all that is 'small potatoes' compared to what your area is experiencing. Stay as safe as possible; you are in my thoughts.
