Two Things . . .

Two things I rarely get right the first time: pulling the cord to open or close our drapes and getting the correct side of the fitted sheet on the bed! It's very frustrating , b/c there's a 50 - 50 chance of getting it right on the first try -- but it never seems to happen for me. I won't even list balancing the check book; that's a whole 'nother story. :)

Only two static things at 50/50 chance? You're doing great.
Don't sweat the small stuff.
Now, if you're doing your check book at a 50/50 pace, yes that is another story.

Got a queen size fitted bottom sheet? It definitely is 50/50.
I sewed a ribbon loop to one side of the narrower (top/bottom) side of the sheet. Took a minute but saved me from the eternal which way.

Anneliese, that is a great idea! Your suggestion about the bottom sheet leads me to think that I could use a little twist tie around one of the drapery cords. VOILA! Maybe both of my problems will be solved. Thank you.
