Sometimes the news is good.

George had an appointment with the oncologist this p.m. He had had a ct scan and a pet scan last week. When the Dr. came in she said well I've got news, she paused and smiled and said it is very good news. There is no indication of the lymphoma in either scanm but she said you aren't cured but I would think you should have a number of cancer free months if not years and further good news, now we have an oral drug to treat if it does come bac. She said it doesn't hve the nasty side effects that chemo does. If the chemo hadn't stolen his lower legs all would be well.

That is fanstastic news! I was actually too worried to open it when I first saw the title and so I left to gather my strength to read it. I am so glad it's such good news. Hurray!
