| Books are the carriers of civilization. Without books, history is silent, literature dumb, science crippled, thought and speculation at a standstill.
Barbara Tuchman Those who begin by burning books will end by burning people.
And here one written for me, I think: Where is human nature so weak as in the bookstore.

| How true..all of them. I recently acquired an e-reader, and confess I don't like it! Too heavy by far. And very unattractive on the shelf. And books don't need to be re-charged. Can you imagine saving an e-book for the grandkids? |

| Talking about grandkids. Our grandson is 5-1/2 years old now, and he is totally into e-books, e-readers etc...(DD get's them from the library) That is part of his generation. No, I don't think it's worth saving an e-book for future generations, they go out of date almost as soon as they come on the market. |
