If you can see your path laid out
in front of you step by step,
you know it's not your path.
Your own path you make with every step you take.
That's why it's your path.
Joseph Campbell

I have learned silence from the talkative,
tolerance from the intolerant
and kindness from the unkind.
I should not be ungrateful to those teachers.
Kahlil Gibran

Honor the sacred.
Honor the Earth, our Mother.
Honor the Elders.
Honor all with whom we
share the Earth:-
Four-leggeds, two-leggeds,
winged ones,
Swimmers, crawlers,
plant and rock people.
Walk in balance and beauty.

Native American Elder

Great quote week. Hard to follow you, lilo, but I'll give it a try.
I really like the first one. It reminds me of when we were at Squaw Valley and it was tons of new snow, so we decided to do a cross country trip before we hit the downhill.
By the time we hit the trail, the rut was so deep that we could not navigate at all.
By the time we came to the down hill, we said "Let it fly".
