We have been educated into believing someone else's concept of the deity, and someone else's standard of beauty. You have the right to practice any religion and politics in a way that best suits your freedom, your dignity, and your understanding. And once you do that, you don't apologize.
John Henrik Clarke

Never apologize for showing feeling. When you do so, you apologize for the truth.
Benjamin Disraeli

I am impelled, not to squeak like a grateful and apologetic mouse, but to roar like a lion out of pride in my profession.
John Steinbeck

A stiff apology is a second insult... The injured party does not want to be compensated because he has been wronged; he wants to be healed because he has been hurt.
Gilbert K. Chesterton

Accept everything about yourself - I mean everything, You are you and that is the beginning and the end - no apologies, no regrets.
Henry A. Kissinger

The only correct actions are those that demand no explanation and no apology.
Red Auerbach

Generally I like the quotes.
But I totally disagree with Henry A. Kissinger, because he was in public office, and it seems to me that he has a responsibility to the public. He (and another public official) goes around saying something about they did it because it is the way they are,
Thanks for the quotes,Don.Even the Kissinger quote, it makes me think (and vent).
