Also on Santa Ana Plaza is this entrance to I-don't-know-what. Notice, that one has to step down rather than up. A bit different. Also the craftsmanship of the design around the door is something else. I could not locate any information about this door and/or building, so I cannot relate anything.

This is a school outing to Teatro Guiniguada in the old town portion of Las Palmas. Again, I could not locate much information other than it had not been used for many years until it was re-opened in 2011 with seating for 461 on two levels.

Naturally, we were there on the 6th of November. Were the school kids getting a preview?

This is another of the performing arts venues in Las Palmas. It is named after the Spanish realist novelist Perez Galdos (1843 - 1920).

Here is a line-up for the Teatro Perez Galdos. Notice that Los Miserables was set to appear from January 10 through February 2. To me, that is a long run.

Again, we were there on November 6. This looks like it might be a fun thing to watch. This sign was on a light pole, they were all over the city of Las Palmas.

Another great wooden door. This one is on a side street that is probably a private residence. I was impressed with the craftsmanship.

Another great door, this one is the main entrance to a small neighborhood church in the old town area of Las Palmas.

I thought that this was neat. A side street (what you see is the entire length of the street) with an Italian restaurant at the end, on a cross street. I saw many Italian oriented businesses in Spain.

Interesting about the elaborate doors. Noticed that there are balconies above a couple of the doors.Wondering who were allowed to use the doors and the balconies?
Nice side trip.

The event list at the theater would be just right for me. I love old doors, no mass production there.
