Dear Lilo and Joann,
I am so sorry for the pain you are going through right now and may the years of memories and love help soften it a little.

I will be thinking of you both and sending healing prayers your way.

Your tribute is beautiful---I had a copy of that taped to the inside of the door on my supply locker at nursery school for years---it helped me get through some pretty tough losses. It's comforting to read it again.

I'll light the candle in the garden tonight and hope it will help comfort you.

I apologize---Anneliese posted the poem I mentioned---please forgive me for my blunder.

Lilo, your tribute was written with the same leaness as the picture of Ron, working at the forge.
Nothing to spare in his build---what is shown is what he needed to work at his craft.

Lean, hard muscles and probably some long scars on his calves.

(My brother used to be a ferrier)
