I like the quotes.
Vernon Law's quote reminds me of a pro tennis player I knew, that focused on his serve, and he had one heck of a serve but he never learned the whole game. Once the other players figured out how to return his serve, he did not last long as a pro.
You've got to learn the whole "trade".
