With all the light pollution in modern civilization is anyone afraid of the dark amymore?

Michael---so true about loving stars---reminds me of life on the mtn.---nights outside were ALWAYS special.

No light pollution here, and yes, some visitors are afraid of the dark,they would feel more comfortable if I kept the outside lights on over night.

Is anyone afraid of the dark anymore? This happened to one of my children.

Well yes, going from a cabin to an outhouse in the middle of the night, in the middle of the woods, close the door with the half moon carved out and a bird flies up your a@@ as you sit down. No matter how bright the stars or clear the skies, that little half moon never let in enough light.
