Park Guell is another UNESCO World Heritage Site that was designed by Antoni Gaudi.

It was the site of an unsuccessful building complex that was copied from some English garden designs. On a slope, it was for upper-class people who did not want the factory smoke in their homes about the turn of the 20th century.

These two structures were the only two houses completed. The project was basically abandoned as a housing complex in 1914.
