The area was converted into a park when they realized that no one would purchase the houses. It is a public park and there is no entrance fee; however, it you want to be close to the architectural wonders, there is an admission charge.

Those columns were designed to look like tree trunks.

This is a different part, where visitors can get a good view.

The design on this gate was created to mimic the look of palm fronds.

Throughout this part of the park, there are many tile designs. Due to the number of visitors, it was difficult to get a clear shot.

This was our last stop in Barcelona. We were relieved to get back on Holland America's Maasdam. Tomorrow, we will be in Palma de Mallorca, our eighth port in nine days.
