| My wife used to make solar tea in a one gallon glass jar. I cannot remember how many tea bags she put in the jar. Anyone out there give me a clue??? |

| I used to make it all the time until lately I've read that bacteria can grow very quickly in it and it isn't the best way to make tea. |

| Agreed....tea can harbor some nasty stuff. I make "quick sun tea"....I bring a qt of water to a boil, add 6 individual tea bags....let it sit until it cools to almost room temp, and pour over ice. |
