The Garden Party

Today I Got To Meet

my new great-granddaughter; she is 3 1/2 weeks' old. She and her family live two hours away, so this was the first opportunity DH and I had to visit. She was in NICU for the first week of her life with some reflux/respiratory problems, but is now doing much better. She came home with a heart/breathing monitor and will be attached to it for another month.

She is a beautiful little girl and we hope and pray she will grow to be strong and healthy.

That's great that you got to visit your great-granddaughter.
I hope her parents passes on that her great-grandparents cared enough to make the trip because she's a very special person.

Must have been real nice to visit your great-grandaughter. I don't think I make it to a great-grand.

As a first generation immigrant to this country I think it is so important to build an American family tree. We have three children and two grand children and I'd luv to have great-grand-children. I'm waiting.
