Can anyone tell me the proper forum to talk to gardeners about grass killers. I do not see any forum about weeds. I need a killer of grass among shrubs and perennials

Hi emmarene, welcome to the GP. Below is a link to some weed control groups on Garden Web.I hope this helps.

Here is a link that might be useful: Weed control link.

There is a Weed Forum and there is a Lawn Forum. Just don't go into the Organic Lawn Forum. Both of those forums can be found in the (lengthy) alphabetical listing on the GardenWeb main page.

Thank you Rhizo and West Gardener. I knew there had to be a weeds room :)

West, the Organic Lawn forum is just that...stricty organic. There are those that might be less than helpful to someone asking about 'Poast '. That's putting it mildly, lol. :-)

Please enlighten me: what is "poast"? Is this more evidence of my lack of gardening knowledge?

RE: poast

poast seems to be another grass/weed killer.I've never seen it here in CA, so I had to look it up on the net.
Thanks for the answer, rhizo. Lol, it sounds like a hot topic in that forum.
Perhaps a question like "what's the alternative to using poast?" would work.?

Here is a link that might be useful: poast

RE: poast

I never found anyone and that weed forum has not had posts in a year. I do know what Organic Gardening is; As I am not a troll, I will stay out of that room.

Did you visit the Lawn Care Forum? It stays very busy!

There are many herbicides that kill grasses in broadleaf beds.
