Anneliese, my thoughts and prayers are with your husband and you as he heads for surgery. You say "just gall bladder removal", but no surgery is a 'small deal'. Here's hoping his healing will be fast, and his pain minimal.

Had that one done last year, arthroscopic-ally. Had a stone stuck in a bile duct for 2 months, hope he is not having that pain. The procedure is simple and was done on an out patient basis. Thoughts with both of you.

Anneliese, I watched DH have the pain that Don spoke of....horrible. He was a very happy camper when he no longer possessed a gall bladder! Here's best wishes to your DH for a fast and uncomplicated recovery.
