I was not familiar with a yellowwood tree, either. The fragrance must be very nice. Watch out for those bees, though; they may not want you invading their territory! LOL

I remember you posting this tree some time ago and some one posted a picture. Sounds like a fun part of the garden.

I looked it up, it's a beautiful tree, can imagine the bee-traffic! mwheel, my crab-apples attract a good number of bees, and they are very busy and are not bothered by humans - unless a person accidentally site on one or otherwise comes in direct contact, they really don't want to sting, stinging means death for them.

I remember the first time you posted and I looked up the tree on the net. Pretty tree and it sure draws the pollinators.
Glad It did it again, and I hope it keeps doing for a long time.

Sounds like the fragrance is something which would be great if one could bottle it up. After 3 weeks of hospital air it must have been especially nice.
