I was checking NOAA weather forecasts and read: "there will be boring weather for the next ten or so days" stating temperatures in the eighties/low nineties - nights in the upper forties, low fifties.
They call that "boring?"
No heat-waves, not dry T-storms, no fire-warnings, well maybe they get bored at their computers, but I Take that sort of boring any time!
While thinking that, a poem happened

LetâÂÂs keep it boring

Boring weather say
Expert Meteorologists
Have no better words for
Balmy days - cool nights

See no excitement,
work hours dragging
Graphs flatline
Satellites yawn
Sky the same old, same old

I see serenity
Thriving vegetation
Food on the grill
Happy animals
Pleasant outdoors
Good sleeping weather
