They are dancing again

Was going to say hundreds of them. Probably a good 4 or 5 dozen are dancing in my back yard. Fire flies of course.

And today for the first time this year, the A.C. turned on.

RE: They are dancing again

Yes, they are dancing again and it would be fun to sit on the porch and watch them if the mosquitoes weren't there looking for a blood donation.

RE: They are dancing again

They are out in force here too, even in the house. I left the backdoor open while putting trash out and came back at the front door. About half an hour later I closed finally the backdoor. When it got dark, I had 5 fireflys in the family room. It took a few minutes to catch them and get them outside.

RE: They are dancing again

One of the things I miss.

I am rarely out when it's dark enough for "lightening bugs", wnich is what we called them as children. I will make it a point to go outside, tonight, when it's really dark and see if I can see, any.

RE: They are dancing again

I miss the lightening bugs, too. We don't have them here. Been at least 55-60 years since I have been where they are common.
