| It always rains on tents. Rainstorms will travel thousands of miles, against prevailing winds for the opportunity to rain on a tent.

| Made me laugh, too. Having done quite a bit of tent-camping, I know a well set-up tent in a rain-storm feels rather cozy, it is the hike to the facilities that is difficult |

| My grandfather was convinced that any rain cloud within miles would know when he brought out the tent and would follow him anywhere. That's why I got a kick out of that quote. Another time and place, but the same experience. |
