I think what you've said is incredibly interesting. There are those that think scientific knowledge IS wisdom. Maybe they aren't the same thing? But I dunno. I am not sure you can have scientific knowlege devoid of wisdom, even if you have wisdom devoid of science intellect. Does that make sense? Or is science ONLY a way of thinking? Now I am thinking a million different things. That makes you better than Carl Sagan. In my book.

The Sagan quotes are great. In my opinion you can have wisdom without science, just think of the many quotes by Native Americans we have read over time. Science without wisdom don't acknowledge the emotional side of life, just facts. There 1+1=2, a number but not that one and one can be a pair, 2 children, 2 sides if a story.
