Not appropriate for me. I leave the house once a week to pick up produce from our CSA. And I do some volunteering at the county-owned nursing home. Since I live about 5 miles from town, not a lot of options. The closest bus line has a pick-up about 3/4 miles and it operates once an hour.

Parking in the downtown area is not too bad, and there are many green spaces. The parking problem is on the university campus, expensive and few openings.

The "park" spaces aren't always downtown. I'm sorry if I misspoke myself. My park spaces are all downtown. In Nashville. Your city is very likely different.

I never heard of this, doesn't apply to me anyway, living rural, there are no metered public spaces anywhere, not even in the small towns in the county.

Come to think of it, I don't think we have any meters in out city.
But if we do, DH and I would join, load our bikes with eats , drinks, plants and join the fun.
