We relaxed! Marching band is in FULL swing. The first contest is this weekend. So he practices Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, game on Friday and contest on Saturday. That leaves Wednesday. Oh, and I either have to pick him up or take/pick him up. Half and half. So come Wednesday, we do something. And this week, we were so tired, by the time we figured out what we might do, we'd sat too long. Just gave up and vegged out on the couch, watching nothing on tv. The kids' show is so wonderful, it makes me cry. It's about how Earth is a pale blue dot in the vast universe and how little we mean to it all. And everything we mean to it. It's really cool. Better than any show my group's band (seasons 1981-1984) did. Below is the commentary that plays while they march. Their music is NOTHING like the music playing in the video. We even have a pale blue dot on the field.

I can understand the work you put in to support LF. and it is a lot of work but it is worth it,
DD was in the school choir during her jr high years, and a cheer leader during her high school years, and she was on the dean's list all through those years.She has her masters and still enjoy dancing and singing and writing web pages.
