I find it amusing that some of the Wal-Marts in my neighborhood have a greeter at one door, but not the other. And some stores have no greeter at all. For me, a robot would be welcome.

Our Walmart had three greeters who were around for years, including a re-location. Within a matter of weeks we lost them to ill health and death. It's now a year after and none have been repaced.

At our local Walmart, they have ads running as you walk around. Noise pollution is increasing. I don't mind the visuals for some reason, but bombarding my ears is more than I care to tolerate.
