Boy Riding a Turkey Cart Postcard

None is more impoverished than the one who has no gratitude. Gratitude is a currency that we can mint for ourselves, and spend without fear of bankruptcy. ~Fred De Witt Van Amburgh

Treat the earth well.
It was not given to you by your parents,
it was loaned to you by your children.
We do not inherit the Earth from our Ancestors,
we borrow it from our Children.

Both good ones and the card is cute/funny, looks British.

I often think about that earth quote.

Don, it's a penny postcard sent in 1909 from Ohio to Michigan. Those formal looking ones make me think British too. There is a really cute one with two girls driving a cart with two turkeys pulling it. There are so many great ones. The site I've gotten them from is called Card Cow. She sells the cards but generously allows you to post them on forums and such, for free, even giving the links.

Here is a link that might be useful: Cow Card site if you want to browse
