| It's finally here! Election Day, that is. It's 6:54 a.m., EST, and the polls have been open for 24 minutes. DH and I are happy, mainly because we won't have to be driven out of our minds by those political ads on TV, computerized phone calls, and junk mail, anymore! At least, I sincerely hope they will stop. DH and I did early voting, last week. We were in line about an hour and that wasn't too long, but to be honest, I'm not sure I'd wait four or five hours. As it was, DH used his wheelchair, which made it possible for him to wait.
(I hope this won't be considered too "hot" a topic for the G.P.)
Anyway, whoever is your choice, please vote! |

| Not hot at all. But aren't you glad it's almost over? Good for you to get out and do your "duty". Not enough people do, but such is the American public. Now it might be hot if we got to talking about which candidate for whom we voted, so it's good we're not! |

I live in a sparsely populated area, we used to have a polling place open, but because it was so far for so many, turnout always was small, particularly if inclement weather mde it impossible for some to even attempt to go out, so I vote by mail now.
I like it, have time to think about it and am not rushed to fill in the ballot. |

| It's not a hot topic here at all. Sure was asleep with that one! It's really easy to early vote here. Many places with many days and loads of reasonable times. |

| I really hope everyone on the East coast is able to get out to vote. And I'm really happy that Facebook will be a lot quieter with all the political talk! lol! |

| Just got back from voting. Long lines, but disabled persons were escorted right to the front of the line and since I was accompaning my husband, I was moved right along with him and nobody complained about it. |

| I am totally and completely ready for my FB newsfeed to be free of any political comments, cartoons and discussions! I'm considering heading to the movies tonight after I vote so I don't have to listen to the endless updates ..... Lisa |

| That's a good idea if you don't want to hear that stuff, Lisa. That's my favorite part, though - finally starting to hear some results, especially the local/state stuff. |
