Said the Sun to the Moon -'When you
are but a lonely white crown,
And I, a dead King in my golden armor
somewhere in a dark wood,
Remember only this of our hopeless love:
That never till Time is done
Will the fire of the heart and the fire of
the mind be one.'
No. I LOVE to read and have a weakness for poetry. My children are grown and moved out and unfortunately, that saying that "opposites attract" is true. My hubby of 29 years cares for neither. So, I am truly enjoying the opportunity to share some of my favorite verses with all of you this week. I beg everyone's indulgence. I've picked up old poetry collection books at Friends of the Library sales over the years, as well as checking out volumes, and reading on line. I try to read some every morning and whatever catches my eye, mind, and heart, gets shared. :)
