Today it's a couple of odds and ends quotes. Pulled my remaining drain in my sleep, ended up in ER to get it re-inserted (low on the treatment roster, provided with a bunch of gauze pads). Now I am too sleepy to go looking.

"But you have forgotten the truth" said the fox. "But you must not forget it. You become responsible forever for what you have tamed ".
Antoin de Saint-Euxepery

The one who follows the crowd will usually go no further than the crowd. The one who walks alone is likely to find himself in places no one has ever been.
Albert Einstein

Choose being kind over being right, and you will be right every time.
Richard Carlson

Good ones, I like #1 particularly

So sorry you had to go to ER, hope they got it all fixed and soon you will not have to have it any more - gentle (((hug)))

Anneliese, your 'odds and ends' quotes are great. I agree with Lilo, I hope that it won't be long, before you won't need a drain, at all.

#3 speaks to me, loudly and clearly.

Lilo, perhaps the responsibility that goes with learning the truth is why some folks refuse to 'face the facts', as it were.

anneliese, take care.

I'm of two minds of the Albert Einstein's quote.
He is correct in his quote, but sometimes it's fun to be part of a crowd. Start at the Start Line and finish at the finish line together.
Then celebrate the togetherness.
