DD has been hiking and camping in the Marin, CA woods for 3 days and almost 3 nights. On the third day it started raining while DD was 8 miles into her hike. She pitched her tent and found that her sleeping bag was soaking wet. She packed up and hiked 6 more miles, in the dark and rain to her car.
When she got home early, the house was empty,
When she sat down on her bed, her cat came out from her hiding place, jumped into DD lap and started purring.
And there they were, happy to see each other.
