| Rarely do members of the same family grow up under the same roof. Richard Bach I believe the world is one big family, and we need to help each other. I don't think anyone has a normal family. When you start about family, about lineage and ancestry, you are talking about every person on earth.

| What is "normal" for one family may seem completely wacky to another family, so that quote is "spot on". The Richard Bach quote is true, too, b/c children can live their growing-up years in the same house with the same parents, but birth order makes it different for each of them. I know this from experience: as the oldest of three daughters, more was expected from me, but I also got to do more. Plus, my parents learned what NOT to let my younger sisters do! LOL |
