| are slowly coming to mind. The saddest part of my trip was returning through West Virginia. As I came through Wheeling the very last houses I saw were 4 nice homes apparently abandoned and all boarded up. Wheeling used to be a busy town for galvanized metal products. Now most of that work is done overseas. I think at some point we will be sorry we permitted manufacturing flight. Steve in Baltimore County. |

| I went to China some 30 years ago, just when they opened up the country to visitors and I visited some the "factories". They were huge buildings with hundreds of workers on an open factory floor. Each worker seemed to have a specific station and a specific task. They were glad to show what they were doing and although they did not say so, I bet they were glad to have a job. |
